To set up Context Aware Access for Google Workspace Admin Console, you will need to:
- Sign in to your Google Admin console.
- Go to Security > Access and data control > Context-Aware Access.
- Click Turn On.
- Click Access Levels.
- Click Create access level.
- In the Name field, enter a name for your access level.
- In the Description field, enter a description for your access level.
- In the Conditions section, add one or more conditions that users must meet in order to be granted access to the Admin console. You can use the following attributes to create conditions:
- IP address range: Users must be connecting from a specific IP address range.
- Device type: Users must be using a specific device type, such as a laptop or a mobile phone.
- Operating system: Users must be using a specific operating system, such as Windows or macOS.
- Browser: Users must be using a specific browser, such as Chrome or Firefox.
- Geographic location: Users must be connecting from a specific geographic location.
- Custom access level attribute: You can create your own custom access level attribute by using Common Expression Language (CEL).
- Click Save.
- Once you have created one or more access levels, you can assign them to the Admin console. To do this, click Admin console in the Applications list and then select one or more access levels from the Assign drop-down menu.
